As a student from Ghana, Hong Kong is my first overseas destination for studying abroad. I should say I have no regrets for making here as my first choice. The University are well equipped with great facilities for research. Also, they provide us with the Postgraduate Studentship which is very adequate for living in Hong Kong.

In HKUST, those who love sports and all range of activities will attest to the fact that all kinds of sports and other facilities are easily accessible. Moreover, in just one bus stop away, there are numerous hiking trails which is one of the fun activities I enjoy in my free time.

It’s possible that we might forget all the theories taught by the brilliant professors, but we will never forget the stunning view the university campus had. The breath-taking sea view with well-kept green environment is one of the incredible views on campus. The environment gives you hope to strive for greatness, particularly, for me, as a geotechnical engineering student. You will get to see how engineers have striven to design foundations in such a complicated natural terrain. To sum up, I would say it will be a never-forgetting experience for anyone who makes the decision to attend HKUST.
