Students can refer to the glossary for the terminology used in SIS. Technical enquiries can be directed to the Information Systems Office.
The Professional Development Course (PDC) administration system has been designed to help students enroll in PDC activities. The system allows students to enquire what activities will be offered, and when and for which they have already registered. It also maintains a list of the activities that students have already completed.
First time users can refer to the Student User Guide for technical details. For enquiries about or assistance with the PDC requirements, please contact the department / program office.
Research Output System (ROS) is a system for collecting data of different types of research outputs produced by the HKUST community, which include faculty members, researchers, staff and students. The following types of research outputs should all be reported to the system:
You can access ROS via http://ros.ust.hk/ and report your research outputs throughout the year; the data synchronizes with the Scholarly Publications Database (SPD) managed by Library. ROS will be down for daily system maintenance from 3 a.m. to 4 a.m., Hong Kong Time.
To get more details on using ROS, please refer to the ROS User Guide. Enquiries or suggestions on ROS can be sent to ros@ust.hk.
To manage records for a department, access ROS as a departmental administrator.
At the end of June every year, all RPg students are required to submit a written review of their study progress in the past twelve months, and to describe their study plan for the twelve months ahead using an online proforma designed for this purpose.
