Congratulations on receiving your offer!  Accept the offer now and get prepared for your study journey at HKUST!

Step 1


Accept the Admission Offer Online

Confirm the offer and pay the deposit to confirm your acceptance.

Tip: Offers are only considered accepted when both online acceptance and deposit payment are completed.

Step 2

Submit Student Visa Application (for Non-Local Students)

Apply for the Student Visa/ Entry Permit prior to program commencement.  Most non-local students are required to obtain a student visa/ entry permit for studying in Hong Kong. Learn more

Tip: Visa extension is not applicable for current HKUST final year students seeking admission to a new study program at HKUST.

Step 3

Submit Documents to Verify Your Qualification

Arrange official transcripts and other necessary documentation to be sent directly by the issuing authorities by the deadline stipulated in the offer letter/ Document Checklist.  Learn more

Step 4

Register at HKUST

Check out the invitation for registration and register at HKUST according to the instructions. Students are expected to register at HKUST in mid-August for Fall entry or mid-January for Spring entry.

In addition, if you are a current/ previous student at HKUST, please ensure that you have settled all outstanding payment from your studies in order to proceed to new program registration.
